need help here with a watering solution.

I want to make a watering system to water all my bushes at once. using only the water hose, no pumps.

its a 91 foot long span with 16 ball valves, now I've already made it. it works but the pressure Im getting through the line isn't what I want, it takes to long to water.

I think that if I make the first 20 ft or so 2 inch diameter, and leave the rest 1/2 inch that I can increase the pressure over the whole length.

shouldnt this work?

:helpme:

I'll help you out. But only if you admit that "watering your bushes" really means your growing the cheeba cheeba.

do I really have to admit it? when I say bushes I mean Red Tip Photinias.

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
Just make your wife walk up and down the stretch of "plants" and water it herself.

always wanted one of those cookers.

another possibility I was thinking about was misters, wouldn't that add more pressure?

I see how it is, no one wants to talk about water lines:thefinger

so go back to your whos ass would you put your face in while frying cum on the stove, while the tv shows adrianna having 65 loads dumped in her, and you neighbor peeks in watching you shit on the cat. the whole time fanasizing about tennis players trying to tear your banjo string:crash:

Your plan will definitely help, but I have doubts that you'll see any significant difference.
The easiest way would be to buy a booster pump, you can pick one up pretty cheaply, I'd guess under 100. Or if you have decent pressure up front but it drops too much by the end, you could get creative and make a manifold that's roughly equidistant from all of the sprinklers and is fed by a large diameter hose so that you can at least distribute the pressure evenly. If you're really keen, you can also check your feed, if you're running all this off a plain old spigot that sticks out of your wall there's a good chance it's fed by a half inch pipe, you could increase pressure by replacing it with a larger bore right from your main. Sounds like you're in for some fun!

thanks mongo
I replaced the first 30 feet with 1 1/4 then to the !/2, it didnt really help. noticed the water pressure out of the hose was weak today, the valve in the manhole cover may not be full open, its touchy.

I may not need it for a while anyway, its supposed to rain 4 to 9 inches this week.:(
